Includes the original rare plaid rod bag and original black aluminum tube with brass fittings. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast as is usual with the shorter rods. The ferrules are size 11/64 with a great fit. Dual aluminum sliding band reel seat over a cork spacer. There is also a small hole caused by lesser quality cork. Very petite cigar grip 3 7/8" in length with some slight ridging. The serial numbers on the tips remain free from defects. the script remains clean and bold though the serial number on the butt is half worn off. The wraps and varnish over them remain in excellent condition. The rod features darkly tempered cane often seen on older Orvis rods with transparent deep rust colored wraps. All sections are full length with slight sets in both tips. The script on the butt section has received a light varnish overcoat for some reason, but the rest of the rod remains 100% original.
